Dr. Ashok K. Vaid is a distinguished and certified Medical Oncologist renowned for initiating one of the largest Stem Cell Transplant programs in North India's private sector. He currently serves as Chairman of Medical Oncology, Hematology, and Stem Cell Transplant at the Medanta Cancer Institute in Gurugram, India. With over 30 years of clinical expertise, Dr. Vaid specialises in Cancer Genomics, Immunotherapy Guidance, Precision Onco-therapeutics, Dendritic Cell Therapy, and Stem Cell Transplant. He earned his Doctor of Medicine (DM) degree in Medical Oncology from Tamil Nadu Dr. MGR Medical University, Chennai, India. Dr. Vaid has authored numerous peer-reviewed articles and has been actively involved in clinical research, participating in over 50 international and national studies as Principal Investigator. He is also a postgraduate teacher registered with the National Board of Examinations and serves on the panel of university examiners for the super-speciality course in Medical Oncology. In recognition of his outstanding contributions to medicine, he was awarded the prestigious Padma Shri Award by the President of India in 2009.
