He completed his MBBS and MD in General Medicine from JIPMER, Pondicherry, and received his senior residency and super-specialty training in Medical Oncology from AIIMS, New Delhi. Over his extensive career at VMMC Safdarjung Hospital, New Delhi, Dr. Kataria advanced from Senior Resident to Head of the Department of Medical Oncology before joining Medanta. He has authored numerous publications, articles, and book chapters in esteemed Indian and international journals.
