Dr. Vinod Raina is one of India’s foremost Medical Oncologists, boasting over 40 years of experience in the field. He previously served as Professor and Head of Medical Oncology at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in New Delhi. Dr. Raina has specialised expertise in treating Breast, Lung, Gastrointestinal, Urological, and Gynaecological cancers, as well as Lymphomas and Myelomas. He has personally performed approximately 400 bone marrow/stem cell transplants. With extensive research experience, he was the Principal Investigator for around 50 projects during his 24-year tenure at AIIMS and co-founded the INDOX network. He has mentored nearly 70 residents and DM students who now hold prominent positions globally. Dr Raina joined Fortis Memorial Research Institute (FMRI) in 2013 as Director and Head of Medical Oncology and Hematology was promoted to Executive Director in 2017, and became Chairperson of Oncosciences at Fortis Healthcare in January 2020. His specialities include all adult cancers, with particular interest in Breast Cancer, Lung Cancer, GI Malignancies, Genitourinary Cancer, Gynaecological Malignancies, Lymphoma, and Bone Marrow and Stem Cell Transplant.
