Dr. Vivek Chaturvedi, a cardiologist special, has been practicing cardiology for the past approximately 17 years and has considerable experience in this field. Currently working at G.B. Pant Hospital (GIPMER), he has been serving as the in-charge of Arrhythmia and Electrophysiology services and Professor of Cardiology as well. He is an esteemed specialist in the country when it comes to medical interventions such as electrophysiology, radiofrequency ablation, and implantation of devices, and expertise in intricate procedures such as atrial fibrillation, ventricular tachycardia, and focal atrial tachycardia. He also has a working exposure to coronary, valvular, and peripheral interventions. He has been awarded the AV Gandhi Award for Excellence in Cardiology (2008), Smt. Kapal Kaur Medal for compassion and sincerity in Medicine(1997), Atma Prakash Medal for Best Undergraduate in Surgery (1995), and National Talent Search Scholarship as well as at least 50 publications in International Journal and books.
