Overview

Dr. (Col) C.P. Roy VSM, was a senior cardiologist and Head of the Department of Medical Education (Cardiology). Training of DNB Cardiology and PGDCC (Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Cardiology) students was his responsibility. He did MBBS and MD (Medicine) from Armed Forces Medical College, Pune, and DM (Cardiology) from PGI, Chandigarh. He has over 30 years experience of in various Army Hospitals and was a Professor of Cardiology at Armed Forces Medical College, Pune where he trained in DM Cardiology. Dr Roy is currently a postgraduate teacher and examiner for DM and DNB Cardiology and received the 'Vishisht Seva Medal' from the president of India for his excellent service to cardiology. He was Senior Consultant of Cardiology at Escorts Heart Institute & Research Centre, New Delhi, where he spent 8 years doing the same consulting job and training for DNB Cardiology students. Dr. Roy has a great academic track record with many publications in his name.
