Overview

Dr. N. N. Mathur has amassed 40 years of extensive clinical, surgical, teaching, and research experience in Ear, Nose, Throat, and Head Neck Surgery. He has served at some of the most prestigious teaching and training institutions, including Maulana Azad Medical College, JIPMER, Lady Hardinge Medical College, BPKIHS Nepal, and VMMC & Safdarjung Hospital. He has also led two medical colleges in Delhi as Principal and Director, namely VMMC and LHMC.

A graduate and postgraduate of Maulana Azad Medical College, Dr Mathur has received numerous prestigious fellowships, including the Graham Fraser Fellowship in Cochlear Implants at the Royal National Throat Nose Ear Hospital in London, the Commonwealth Fellowship in Pediatric Otolaryngology at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Sick Children in London, the ICMR Fellowship at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital in Ohio, and the WHO Fellowship at House Ear Institute in Los Angeles. He has also undergone in-service training in the USA and UK, focusing mainly on Pediatric Otolaryngology and Cochlear Implants.

Dr. Mathur has published over 100 research papers, book chapters, and presentations in various national and international journals. He has been an examiner for undergraduate and postgraduate students for 33 years across different universities and has organised numerous workshops and conferences. His primary areas of interest include Pediatric Otolaryngology, Pediatric Airway Reconstructive Surgery, Surgery for Vocal Cord Palsy, Voice Surgeries, Cochlear Implants, Pediatric ENT Tumors (including Nasopharyngeal Angiofibroma), Tympanoplasty, Tinnitus and Vertigo Therapy, Skull Base Surgery, Endoscopic Sinus Surgery, and Head Neck Surgery.

Dr. Mathur's extensive contributions to the field are reflected in his participation and leadership in many national and international conferences, where he has presented his research and chaired scientific sessions
