Dr. Shashidhar TB is not only great at his work but also a compassionate consultant ENT and Head and Neck surgeon with adequate experience in even complicated cases. His clinical interests include Airway surgery, management of pharynx and larynx abnormalities, obstructive sleep apnoea, general otolaryngology, and pediatric otolaryngology. He has international training which means that he offers his patients the best quality treatment. Dr. Shashidhar is an avid knowledge seeker and has an avid interest in research, academics, and faculty. He has never been boastful, even though he has received different accolades throughout his career such as the Medical Excellence Award valued by the president of IMA and the director of AIIMS in 2014 under sponsorship by Jansanskriti NGO. He has also been teaching at the ISSA Sleep Surgery Conference and also at the Voicecon 2013. Dr. Shashidhar was the first runner-up in the Best Paper Award category, at the International Pediatric Otolaryngology Conference held in March 2010, for his paper on balloon laryngoplasty in pediatric subglottic stenosis. He has authored many articles in national and international journals has operated on thousands of babies and has accepted challenging cases that other surgeons don’t consider worthy of attempt.
