Overview

Dr. Shashidhar TB is a highly skilled and dedicated consultant ENT and Head and Neck surgeon with extensive experience in handling challenging cases. His clinical interests encompass airway reconstruction, treating swallowing disorders, sleep apnea surgery, general ENT, and pediatric ENT. With international training, he provides top-notch treatment to his patients. Dr. Shashidhar is a passionate learner with a strong focus on research, academics, and teaching. Throughout his career, he has maintained a calm and humble demeanour despite numerous accolades and achievements, including the Medical Excellence Award in 2014 given by the IMA president and AIIMS director, sponsored by Jansanskriti NGO. He has also served as faculty at the ISSA Sleep Surgery Conference and Voicecon 2013. Dr. Shashidhar was the runner-up for the Best Paper Award at the International Pediatric Otolaryngology Conference in March 2010 for his work on balloon laryngoplasty in pediatric subglottic stenosis. He has published extensively in national and international journals and has performed thousands of successful surgeries on infants, often taking on cases others have deemed too dimcult.
