Dr. Shomeshwar Singh is an ENT specialist, he trained in India from 1990 to 1999 and in the United Kingdom from 2000 to 2008. Currently, Dr. Singh is a Senior Consultant with more than 25 years of practice involving the practice of medicine involving Ear, Nose, Throat, and Hearing (Cochlear) implants. He has been head of one of the biggest cochlear implant programs in India and has done very good results with a good number of patients. Dr. Singh is recognized as a Trainer and Mentor Surgeon for new Cochlear Implant Programs and convenes the ACIC, an annual surgical educating course in Cochlear Implant surgery. He is also the brain behind See Sound Live ICCSS (SSL), a unique assistive gadget that can enable the deaf community to speak. As of now, SSL is being piloted in India, the UK, and the USA. For his path-breaking work, Dr. Singh received several grants including the BIRAC INNOVATOR AWARD in 2020 presented by the Vice President of India.
