Dr Amrita Kapoor Chaturvedi is a distinguished ophthalmologist with extensive training and qualiflcations from the prestigious All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, where she completed both her MBBS and MD. She is also a Fellow of The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (FRCSEd). Her professional journey began at AIIMS, where she specialized in ophthalmology at the Dr. Rajendra Prasad Centre for Ophthalmic Sciences and subsequently served as a Senior Resident in the Glaucoma, Squint, and Neuro-ophthalmology unit for three years. During her tenure, she independently managed speciality clinics and actively participated in surgical, medical, and teaching activities. Dr. Kapoor Chaturvedi furthered her career as a Senior Research Associate at AIIMS, focusing on Oculoplasty, Pediatric Ophthalmology, and Ocular Oncology. She played a pivotal role in managing retinoblastoma cases at the Retinoblastoma Clinic at the Institute Cancer Centre (IRCH). In 2007, she joined Visitech Eye Centre, New Delhi, as a Senior Consultant, where she honed her expertise in managing complex cases of glaucoma, squint, pediatric eye diseases, and neuro-ophthalmology. Her surgical skills include advanced techniques such as phacoemulsification and extracapsular cataract extraction, as well as the use of valves and drainage devices in refractory glaucoma cases. In August 2022, Dr. Kapoor Chaturvedi joined Amrita Hospital, Faridabad, as a Senior Consultant and Assistant Professor, bringing her wealth of experience and commitment to patient care and academic excellence.
