Dr. Sameer Kaushal is an eminent eye surgeon who passed out and completed his post-graduation from All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi. Getting specialized training in the Cornea, Cataract, and Refractive Surgery Unit of AIIMS he gained extensive exposure to the treatment of corneal diseases and the performance of innovative eye surgeries including phacoemulsification surgery for cataracts, LASIK surgery, and corneal transplant surgery. Corneal transplants are another area of specialization, employing sutureless operations as well as artificial corneas. Dr Kaushal proves his desire for progress in the treatment of eye illnesses. He has also published many research papers in journals and coauthored books covering corneal transplantation, corneal disorders, and LASIK surgery. Dr. Kaushal is fairly involved in teaching and has been faculty for the national workshops on corneal surgery. He is an active member of the Association of Ophthalmic Journalists, Amar Ujala, The American Academy of Ophthalmology, Delhi Ophthalmological Society, and All India Ophthalmological Society, there he has been honored with several awards for his research work and surgical discoveries.
