Dr. Naresh Trehan is one of India's foremost Cardiovascular and Cardiothoracic Surgeons, with over 40 years of experience and more than 45,000 successful cardiac surgeries to his credit. He founded Medanta-The Medicity in Gurgaon, a prestigious multispecialty hospital. Dr. Trehan's expertise includes cardiomyoplasty, myocardial total arterial revascularisation, transmyocardial laser revascularisation, reduction ventriculoplasty (Batista Operation), heart port access, aortic valve, and robotically-assisted cardiac surgery. He has been honoured with the Padma Shri, Padma Bhushan, and Lal Bahadur Shastri National Award by the Government of India.
