Dr. Sushant Srivastava is a nationally renowned cardiovascular surgeon with expertise in Beating Heart Bypass Surgery, Single, Double, and Triple Valve Repairs and Replacements, Aortic Aneurysm Surgery (including Endovascular Repairs), and complex vascular procedures involving the aorta, carotid arteries, and lower limb vessels. He gained prominence for performing successful bypass surgery on a 96-year-old patient, one of the oldest reported cases. With over 10,000 surgeries to his credit, Dr Srivastava's extensive training at AIIMS, New Delhi, includes an M.Ch in CTVS (1994) and a tenure as Assistant Professor until 1998, during which he was involved in India's flrst heart transplants and managed the Heart Transplant and Ventricular Assist Device Program. His previous roles include Assistant Professor at AIIMS, Senior Consultant at Devki Devi Max Heart and Vascular Institute, Chief Cardiac Surgeon at Batra Hospital & Medical Research Centre, and Sr. Director of Cardio Vascular Surgery at BLK Max Hospital. He has performed groundbreaking surgeries such as the first 'stitch-less' valve implantation in India, the first 'awake' CABG north of Delhi, and has expertise in Endovascular therapy for Aortic Aneurysms, Re-Do Valve and Bypass surgeries, and surgeries for congenital heart defects.
