Dr. (Maj Gen) D.V. Singh is an esteemed alumnus of Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi, with an M.S. in General Surgery from the Armed Forces Medical College, Pune, and an M.Ch. in Urology from the prestigious All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi. With over 30 years of experience in renal transplants, he has successfully performed live-related, deceased donor, and ABO-incompatible transplants. His expertise extends to Uro-Oncology and Reconstructive Urology, making him a highly skilled Urologist. Dr. Singh has extensive experience in Minimally Invasive Surgery (MIS) for urological cancers, including kidney, bladder, prostate, and testicular cancers, utilising various robotic platforms, laparoscopic interventions, and open surgical operations. After operating with the da Vinci surgical robot, he trained on the new Hugo RAS robotic system in Gent, Belgium, becoming the flrst urologist in North India to perform surgeries with this advanced robotic system. He is proficient in treating congenital and other reconstructive urological problems using robotic, laparoscopic, and open surgical techniques. Dr. Singh has been a Post Graduate Teacher & Examiner in Urology at numerous universities and boards, including Pune University, MUHS Maharashtra, RGUHS Karnataka, GGS University Delhi, Delhi University, and the National Board of Examinations. His exceptional contributions to Urology and Renal Transplantation have earned him the "Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) Commendation" twice, in 2005 and 2013.
