Dr. (Lt Gen) Ajit Singh Narula is the Principal Director for Nephrology & Kidney Transplant with work experience of 40+ years in different tertiary care AFMS and Fortis Healthcare Ltd. He has worked as a Senior Adviser and Consultant in Medicine & Nephrology for the armed forces and as a Professor and HOD at AFMC, Pune. Dr. Narula is a postgraduate teacher and examiner at many medical Universities and has been honored with many academic awards in nephrology. He is an ex–State Honorary Surgeon to the President of India & a Commonwealth scholar, recipient of the President’s Awards for Meritorious Service to the Nation. He has performed excellently to emerge the scapegoat from the Best Officer in Medical Officer Junior Command Course, Administration Phase, Board Examination for the DGAFMS Silver Medal in Medical Officer Junior Command Course, Professional Phase. Two Chief of Army Staff Commendations in 1998 & 2008 for distinguished service, Vishisht Seva Medal in 2010 for service of a very high order to the nation.
