Dr. M. A. Mir is a renowned Gastroenterologist and Endoscopist with over 18 years of extensive experience in the field. Before joining Artemis Health Institute, he served as a Consultant Gastroenterologist and Endoscopist at Pushpawati Singhania Research Institute for Liver and Digestive Diseases, New Delhi. He received his training in Gastroenterology at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, and SKIMS, Soura Srinagar. Dr. Mir has also held the Director and Head of the Department of Gastroenterology position at Rockland Hospitals, Delhi-NCR. He is proficient in a wide range of gastrointestinal procedures, including diagnostic and therapeutic upper and lower GI endoscopies, foreign body removal from the GI tract, metallic stenting of oesophagal, duodenal, and enteral strictures, PEG tube placements, endoscopic band ligation/sclerotherapy, Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP), and liver biopsies. He is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology, the Indian Society of Gastroenterology, and the Association of Physicians of India.
